that's a great idea!! I will have to try this. i used egg cartons last time and it worked but the plant roots didn't go to deep and it was tough to transplant once the garden was ready, but my veggies are still doing good.

Great video-why didn't I think of this? Yes, I believe I read (gasp! in a newspaper!) that as of 2004-5, 95% of newspapers were in soy-based ink. Lead was banned quite some time ago. I would think, if it were made of lead, it would be hazardous for us to read, touch, breathe in...
